ANALOGICAL THINKING
Analogical Thinking comes in three different categories. First is similes, Second is metaphors, Third is analogy.
Similes. Similes is a way of describing someone is like something. Like my father. he can be fierce like a tiger but he can also be shy as a mouse. Sometimes we used this phrases to described somebody's personality and expression. once i had a friend called David. During our physical exercise education class. PE for short, we have to run a 2.4km route. He would run ever so fast and completed his 2.4 just under 10 minutes. We would then called him, he is fast as a cheetah but now we just call him slow as a tortoise.
Metaphors is then a way of describing something is something. like his hand is rough. I had a friend, his name is John his feet is massive sometimes it's hard for him to find a shoes that he likes with his size. So sad.
Next is Analogy. Analogy comes in different category on it's own. First is personal analogy, it's like, the hand phone is getting smarter. direct & symbolic analogy is like taking something from nature and used it to make another thing. This is my favorite, Fantasy analogy. Example Skype. during the 20th century people only dream that with could talk to each other through screen but now we have it in reality.
